TFT – Tapping
The short answer is TFT stands for Thought Field Therapy, or tapping add it is commonly called. In this article, we will explain what it is and why it is so important in our lives. We explained in other articles that we can create what we want with the Life Unblocking method. So where do we need TFT? The quick response is that sometimes we are in so much distress that we need to lower three decibels before we can apply the laws of the dog and the mirror, and then the Life Unblocking method. And this is what we will discuss here.
TFT Is based on the energetic points that Chinese medicine discovered many years ago, and that acupuncture is based on. It may sound like híbrido to you at first. And that\’s ok, it sounded like that to me too after many years of alternative methods exposure. I suggest you experiment it first hand. It is easy and has no side effects, and you will draw your own conclusions.
The most difficult part of the TFT method is to recognize we need it and we have it available. How does it work? We face something or someone who really triggered us. We lost our center. We recognize the situation. We apply TFT. And we regain composure and our center. Yes, that simple. So without further due, let me explain how it works.
Before we start, let\’s practice \”the tapping\”. This is what the method takes its name from. Put two fingers together, the index and the middle. With birth fingers together, do small taps in your opposite arm. This is tapping and what the method is based on. Below are the steps:
- Recognize you are out of the center and need TFT (for me, the most difficult step).
- Do 3 deep breaths.
- Think on a scale of 1-10, how much the feeling is (anxiety, fear, frustration, anger, etc.)
- Find a gland on your left side just under your clavicle. You will notice you find it because when you massage it in small circles applying gentle pressure, you will feel it (not pain, but you will feel the spot, while around you will not). While massaging that spot in small circles with light pressure, repeat to yourself \”I accept myself, deep and honestly, with all this [feeling] and limitations\”.
- Start tapping for 5 seconds each, on the following points (look at the diagram for reference):
- Top of the head
- Forehead
- Temples
- Chick
- Between upper lip and nose
- Between chin and lower lip, toward the chin.
- Over your heart
- Rib cage, on the side, under your arm.
- Inside your wrist.
- Outside you wrist
- With birth hands, on both clavicles at the same time
- Evaluate your feeling again like in step #3 above. If the result is under 3, you are done. Congratulations!! You decreased the disturbing feeling to a very loud level. Now you can do everything else you learned. Don\’t fight it, see what the person or situation is trying to show you, and use Life Unblocking to change the programming. If the storming feeling is still 4 or over, continue to the next step.
- This is a slight variation of step #4 above. While massaging the gland, repeat to yourself three times \”I accept myself deeply and honestly, although I still feel this [feeling] in me\”.
- Repeat all the tapping on step #5. And then reevaluate the feeling as we did in step #6. If the feeling is under 3, you are done. If not, repeat steps #4-8 until the feeling intensity is under 3.
